Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you join us on the Wild Atlantic Way this October. Still curious after reading? We are an email away.
Before You Go
We'd love to have you along for a week in Ireland! Tap any question below to reveal the answers.
What's included in the listed price?
Your $2,899 per person (based on two people sharing a room) covers the whole week on the ground in Ireland:
- Your seat on a deluxe private coach from October 3 (Shannon) through October 9 (Ennis)
- A professional Irish Driver-Guide with you all week
- Seven nights of first-class hotel accommodation as listed in the itinerary
- Three group dinners: a welcome dinner in Westport, dinner in Dingle, and a farewell dinner in Ennis
- Full Irish breakfast every morning you wake up in a hotel
- Admission to all musical events
- Your group departure transfer to Shannon Airport on the final morning
What's not included?
- Airfare (a group air rate may be announced, but you are welcome to book your own flights)
- Optional attractions and activities (distillery tours, golfing, horseback riding, and the like)
- Tips for your coach driver
- Items of a personal nature and any meals not listed as included
- Optional gratuities at group dinners (not mandatory, but always appreciated)
- A single supplement, if you would like a room to yourself (see below)
The price is "double occupancy." What if I want to travel by myself?
The $2,899 rate is based on two travelers sharing a room. You are more than welcome to fly solo. A single supplement of $949 covers a private room of your own, and there are a limited number available, since we can only reserve a set number of rooms. Hammond Tours is also happy to help match you with a roommate if you would prefer to share.
When and where does the tour begin and end?
We begin on Sunday, October 3 at Shannon Airport, where your Driver-Guide meets the group, and we wrap up on Sunday, October 10 with a transfer back to Shannon for your flight home. Please plan to meet the group at Shannon at the start of the trip, or make other arrangements with Hammond Tours, so we can keep to our schedule.
How does payment work, and what is the cancellation policy?
A $250 per-person deposit reserves your spot. Hammond Tours sends a reminder before each due date.
- $250 depositPer person · confirms your place
- $550 second paymentPer person · due May 3, 2027
- Final paymentBalance due July 3, 2027
We strongly recommend Travel Cancellation & Interruption Insurance. Hammond Tours can point you to coverage options.
I'm vegan / gluten-free / dairy-free. Will the meals work for me?
Vegetarians, pescatarians, and vegans will be offered options, and the chefs will do their best to accommodate other dietary requirements with prior notice. From our own experience, Ireland has become a wonderfully veggie-friendly country over the last couple of decades, so you will be well looked after.
Is this trip wheelchair accessible?
We and our hosts in Ireland will do everything possible to make every guest feel welcome and safe. That said, some of the attractions and natural landmarks we visit come from long before the advent of the wheelchair ramp (or, for that matter, the wheelchair). Please contact our friends at Hammond Tours with your specific requirements and they will help you decide whether the trip is a good fit.
Can I extend my stay or travel elsewhere in Europe afterward?
Of course. If you buy into the group air, you will work your itinerary out with Hammond Tours. Otherwise, we just ask that you meet up with the group at Shannon Airport at the start of the trip (or make other arrangements with Hammond Tours) so we can keep to our schedule. The rest of your adventure is yours to design.
I don't drink. Will I still have fun in Ireland?
YES. A thousand times, yes. While some trips to Ireland revolve around whiskey and Guinness, the focus of ours is music. There will be delicious options everywhere we go, but you will never feel left out if you would rather sip tea than Teeling. Those winding Irish roads are best experienced hangover-free anyway, so trust us on this one.
I have another question and I don't see the answer here. Help!
Don't fret. Email us at [email protected] and if we can't answer your question, we will put you in touch with someone who can.
You've read the fine print. Let's go to Ireland.
